Two weeks? Really? Ugh, too long between posts. It's not for lack of checking in on here, I come on frequently to see if anyone ELSE has updated their blogs and everyone's been on some kind of hiatus lately - so I don't feel TOO bad about it. I don't really have much in the way of specifics to update on but here's my pathetic attempt at a recap while half-distracted by Twilight playing in the background. :)
We spent a few weekends down at our family's bay cabin and it was awesome. Both weekends we got to spend with Troy, Reana, and Will. We had a blast full of water play, games, laughter, and good times.
I've been going between weddings and other various trips across the sound for different reasons here and there. It's definitely fun to visit with friends and get out of the house.
Joel's been working hard, spending evenings and Mom and Dad's helping them wire up some lighting and speakers for the outside patio. Progress has been slow but very rewarding! In the last few weeks I think Joel and I have spent less than 5 evenings together. So this week our one night of snuggling was spent watching The Musketeer.
Allison got her 15 month check up last week and received a grand total of FIVE shots. She recovered quickly from the torment and has been back to her normal self. Although today she seems to be running a fever and has a big ole' fat red raised blotchy spot on one of her legs. I assume that to be a small reaction to the Chicken Pox vaccine. Small price to pay if she doesn't get the actual disease.
Sarah is as Sarah as ever. We're getting her back into ballet next week and she is VERY excited. We took an unintended break from it over the summer and she has missed it. And frankly I'm growing slightly tired of being her ballet teacher when we have pretend recitals. :)
I don't know what else to post about - oh except a silly Sarah-ism from yesterday.
We were driving along listening to some classical music station and Sarah asked what the music was. "It's classical music Sarah." I said. Then a few minutes later the smooth, talking female DJ came on to recap the previous pieces and Sarah asked, "Mom, is that the classical's mama talking?" Ahh, love the kiddos and their random thoughts. :)

Although you my seem like you aren't posting much...it is so many big details from way over here! We miss you guys sooooo much!
Ha! That is very funny. I now have a name for that voice I use in the classroom besides "I'm talking like this so I can attempt to hold on to my sanity and not scream like a shrew" voice.
that was a good update Jenna! I feel like quite the blog-slacker myself. I haven't blogged anything since the beginning of July! Today I will change that.
I've blogged, and you haven't even noticed. Weep, weep. ;) Glad you're back and spending a little time with your sweetie. Love you.
