- My credit card was used fraudulently and I had to cancel IT and my debit card and I still don't have any idea what exactly happened.
- I'm sick. I thought it was allergies but it's definitely a head cold. Stuffy head, sore throat, body aches, exhaustion.
- Our next door neighbor's dog escaped it's house today and nipped at one of the chickens. The chickens were inside their coop, thankfully, but somehow Chicky-Chick was injured. Her comb was ripped. My neighbor besty came and successfully performed an emergency comb removal (called 'dubbing' in chicken-ese). I almost pee'd my pants and threw up and passed out at the same time. It was awful but we were all troopers. I am hoping that Chicky will recover nicely. The bleeding hasn't quite stopped but it is slowing. My heart drops everytime I think about her.
Bonus rays of sunshine in my day:
- PSE came and picked up my old refrigerator, they said they'd be at my house between 8-12pm and they were there about 7:55. Early and awesome so I was glad that I could carry on with my day and not wait around.
- Discover card is a great card company to work with if you do have fraudulent charges. They were AWESOME to talk with and were more than helpful.
- My besty-neighbor Claire brought me AND the girls dinner. As if that wasn't awesome enough, she actually brought me a cheeseburger (gf bun!) from my favorite local burger joint. Love that woman.
- Joel brought me home a Diet Coke from McDonald's too, and he's the best husband ever.
- I went visiting teaching also and had a chance to laugh with some women I really love.
- My girls played so nicely today while we were surgifying the chicken AND while I dozed off and on after naptime.
- I did the budget today and I managed to stay in budget last pay period. Been a while but I did it.
