- Joel and I found his 1977 Datsun pickup that he sold 5 years ago on Craigslist Saturday night. After about .5 seconds of deliberation we knew we had to buy it. Monday morning man was reunited with truck and it was worth every penny we spent on it. That and we bought it for $300 less than we sold it for can't be beat either! Stay tuned for more detailed updates about that later.
- What I have been thinking is a head-cold I am now reconsidering as allergies. Both Sarah and I are coughing, congested, sniffly, and sneezing. I know I am allergic to something in her room, she may just have a common cold. I really want to throw everything out of her room and clean her carpets. Otherwise, I might just go crazy. Claritin doesn't even touch the reactions.
- Allison is NOT too young to be in love. I put some cute purple rain boots on her and everytime I take them off she promptly picks them up, brings them to me, and backs up to sit in my lap. She wants them back on, ASAP. Currently, she is napping with them on her feet.
- I posted a few inherited items on eBay last week and am super excited that all but one has been bid on - one item is selling for $20 over the starting bid price! WAHOO!
- I signed up for Swaptree, a website that helps you find trading partners for books, movies, CDs, and games. I have traded out a book and a DVD and am eagerly awaiting arrival of my new items - Eclipse and Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits.
- I have canned about 50# of peaches in the last few days. I plan on trying two new recipes - one is a peach/nectarine and apple salsa while the other one is a simple salsa recipe. I'm really excited to be expanding my canning repertoire to include more than just jam and peaches.

I love the shoe thread I'm pickin up on here! Sarah in her ballet slippers and Allison in her purple boots! In no time at all I will have two more girlfriends I can take shoe shopping!

I would have thought the making thedecision + checking the bank account + driving there + negotiations + driving back + peeling off the black paint + cranking up the stereo, could have been accomplished in that time!
