I think one of the reasons that Allison and I may have a harder time seeing eye-to-eye a lot of the time is because she does not get a lot of moments where it is just her and I or Joel, me, and Allison. I do believe that she thrives on attention (as most children do, but she tends to get into naughty things in order to attract it) and rarely gets the center of it. Tonight Sarah went to bed very early since she's not feeling well and Joel and I got some time to really have fun with Alli. She's a hoot. It's so nice to have Joel around as an extra set of eyes and a loud voice. He and Allison love their moments together and I love to watch them. Joel moved stuff around in the fish tank while Allison and I were in church so when we got home Allison was investigating everything. Joel put a little glass crab figurine on our little fish bridge and Allison was completely enamored. She even showed concern that it wasn't moving like the other fish. The thing does not look even remotely real which made it even cuter. As we were looking at the fishes together she happened to just reach over and wrap her arm around my neck. My heart melted. Joel happened to be right next to the camera and snapped a few photos - I was so happy, it was such an amazing and CALM moment for Allison and I which rarely ever happens, except when she falls asleep on me - and that's rare too. :)

| Sure do love my Alli-gator. |
| There is no substitute for moments like these. |
| Allison giving the fishies a big giant hug - I think she was hugging the fake frog mostly. |
| She is pointing to the little blue froggy sitting on the bridge. |
| I cut her bangs the other night and she looks EXACTLY like me when I was that age. |

Wow! I can't believe how big she's getting! She's darling (just like you)!
I love those very special(very rare!) moments when they don't even know or maybe forget that they're being sweet! Ahhh, so cute that girl of yours!
That is precious! She really is so grown up looking these days! Hope everyone is feeling better, Steve Pool says next week is supposed to look better, I hope he's right! A little sunshine would do us all good.
