I've written about
Crowdtap before so you should all know kind of what it is - but it's basically a little website I'm a part of that allows me to test out some products and then give my opinions on them. I don't receive any compensation for a good review - so it's all about honesty. This morning my mom and I met Claire down at
Old Navy for a little Beach Babe party. As a member of the Old Navy Style Council for Crowdtap I occasionally get coupons for some freebies. Today we got a party pack that contained coupons for each of us, and with them we each scored sunglasses, a beach bag, a pair of flip flops, and a beach towel. IT WAS AWESOME! Claire brought her boys and I brought Allison. We had fun making the kids try on sunglasses. I lost my pair of sunglasses that I bought for Hawaii so I'm pretty excited to be able to score a new pair. And we don't have beach towels in this family so that was another huge bonus...frankly I didn't even know that Old Navy sold beach towels!
We spent about an hour at the store browsing through the selection. Nathan and Allison chased eachother around the store with a little bouncy ball. Pretty cute. Allison also hit a big girl milestone today...she got in line on her own with her own money and bought a package of popchips for a snack. I told her if she wanted them she'd have to buy them...so sure enough my little three year old waited patiently until the women in front of her finished paying and then plopped her chips on the counter along with her money. I was so proud and it was so darn cute - I'm totally bummed I didn't video record it!
It was a blast to hang out with some of my favorite people indulging in a little retail therapy! We weren't required to buy anything besides our freebies but I did manage to snag a cute shirt for Sarah on clearance and she loves it. We made out like bandits I tell ya! So, thanks Crowdtap and Old Navy for being so awesome and allowing me to test out and review some of your products!
PS If you want to join in on the action it's TOTALLY free and you can click the link at the top of the blog post. :)

I haven't been shopping like that since Cody was a baby...seems like I run in stores and out again as fast as I can or kids start whining that it is BORING! Glad you had fun.
