Most likely you all know my ultimate weakness - besides my husband (of three years TODAY!)and child(ren) - is Golden Girls. Yes, the wise cracks of Sophia, almost creepy deep voice of Dorothy, a little bit sleazy Blanche, and slightly dim Rose melt my heart each and every time I watch! I thought I'd indulge in some of my other guilty pleasures as well here. Inspired by something very silly. Tonight is the premier of the newest season of Top Chef. I really love watching these people try and create food dishes with little or no time and ingredients. It's awesome.
Joel laughs at my little quirks and really I have to laugh at myself. Some of those guilty pleasures I enjoy?
- Falling asleep on Sarah's floor while we're playing (This happened this morning and Sarah found this an excellent opportunity to put stickers on my face. Serves me right, huh?)
- McDonald's cheeseburgers (This I enjoyed yesterday when I was so hungry my stomach threatened to consume my liver for lack of nutrients - McDonald's was cheap and close.)
- Sunbathing...in a bathing suit (This I haven't done in several years and quite frankly I miss it. Maybe next year.)
- Watching Joel when he doesn't know it (This has to be one of my favorites - sometimes I watch him in the garage through the kitchen window and smile knowing that guy is mine!)
- ICE CREAM! (I could seriously eat ice cream all day long. My absolute favorite would be - okay wait I just thought of two favorites: Baskin Robbins Mint Chocolate Chip with hot fudge and nuts on top AND Birthday Cake Remix (with cookie dough - not brownie) at Coldstone Creamery)
- There might be a running theme with food, but, Soft Pretzels with Cheese (I just indulged in this last week at Walmart and thankfully it was too spicy for Sarah so I didn't have to share.)
- NOT sharing with Sarah (This is a guilty pleasure because I should be a good mom and always love sharing with my daughter, but really, I don't want to ALWAYS share - see guilty pleasure above for illustration!)
Okay, that'll do for now. My mouth is watering but thankfully I just stuffed myself on some FANTASTIC homemade Spanish rice so I'm not hungry. I am now going to research a soft pretzel recipe. :)
And no, Joel and I don't have any exciting anniversary plans. We may go splurge and see the new James Bond movie on Friday. It's okay to have Nana and Papa babysit your daughter on her second birthday right?! :)

I LOVE Top Chef!
Good for you for putting these up here - I'd be too embarrassed to put mine down. Although, I tell you everything and you're the only one that currently reads my blog so maybe it wouldn't be that bad :)
Top Chef is my favorite. So's smiling, smiling's my favorite...
