Oh the weather outside is...changing!

Last night when I woke up for the umpteenth time to pee I noticed something VERY exciting - it was freezing cold! My teeth were chattering by the time I got back into bed. Now some might think this was a bad thing - not me! I don't know how many of you know this but I did manage to go through one winter in Bellingham without turning my heat on! I did finally turn it on for a day or two after 7 straight days of snow and freezing temperatures sometime in February or March.

Back to present day. I'm so excited for winter. I'm loving the cold weather and am eagerly anticipating watching Sarah play in the snow. We didn't make a fire last night because we got home too late from seeing Quantum of Solace. By the way - very good movie. So we passed out around 11 knowing we'd pay for it in the morning. It was about 52 degrees inside. Chilly willy! Sarah doesn't feel it because she has her own personal heater in her room. So I built a fire in the stove and now we are a comfy 70.

Joel and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the movies last night. The movie was fantastic. We got there early enough to secure aisle seats since my bladder is the size of a small walnut. I got up twice and decided if I kept drinking my soda I would never get the plot of the movie so I stopped drinking and managed to stay in my seat until the end. Sarah had a blast with Nana watching Ratatouille. Apparently, she laughed hysterically through out.

I'll get some pictures tonight of Joel's final progress on the bathroom, he's just about ready to put the shower floor down and then it'll be grouting time! We're so excited to get that project wrapped up. I bought some shower fixtures for Sarah's bathroom so hopefully she'll be able to take baths soon too!
