Better Late than Never

I've come up with a few New Year's Resolutions that might be a bit late but they are goals I have and I'm going to share one with all of you.

I'd like to name a few things that are sitting on our front porch right now. Mind you, this is not a complete list - but it's close.
  • Our old Christmas Tree
  • An old Bureau with the drawers sitting on top
  • A box of coat hangers
  • Jogging Stroller
  • Old Couch
  • Exer-saucer for kiddos
  • A box full of cardboard
  • A bathroom vanity
  • Half of a child's play slide toy
  • Children's building blocks

Yes, we might just be a little bit ghetto. Here's the story, I'm ready to let it all go. I had intended to refinish the dresser/drawer set but that is a daunting task when I'm only halfway done refinishing and ITTY BITTY table for Sarah. I have about 1/16th the motivation (and that's pushing it) that Joel has. So I think I'm gonna put it up on Craigslist or have Joel chop it up for firewood. Everything else can be chucked or sold also.

Oh, yes, my new year's resolution you ask? I want a clean, tidy, inviting front porch. We do plan on painting the house here soon (in the next year or so) and I want to make sure we present a great first impression. The tulips will be coming up again soon (and we had millions last year!) so that's going to be my motivation. Who wants to enjoy a yard with a bunch of miscellaneous randomness everywhere? So I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing on my goal.

I'd be happy to take those building blocks off your hands for ya. Callie like those types of things. I got her a big bag of lincoln logs for her birthday at D.I. for $2.00 and she loves them!
