Productivity At It's Best

Today was a good day for me because I truly felt productive. Yes, I get the house clean and keep the child alive on a regular basis but I made a schedule for today. Last night I decided that there were too many 'loose ends' that I had been conveniently ignoring for too long. I decided to put them down on paper in order to get them completed. Here is my list of accomplishments today:
  • Cleaned the master bathroom and guest bathroom (SCRUBBED!)
  • Washed all sheets for all beds in the house (Sarah's included)
  • Vacuumed all of downstairs
  • Super cleaned/organized Sarah's room
  • Cleaned the kitchen
  • Vacuumed/Swept/Mopped all the hardwood floors downstairs
  • Dropped off extra friendship bread starter to Mom so she can take it to work
  • Organized our budget
  • Went grocery shopping
  • Managed to take a short rest while Sarah slept
  • Found and tried a new eggroll (homemade wonton wrappers too!) and sweet and sour sauce recipe (It was a success, Joel loved it!)
  • Had family home evening

And now, Joel and I sit in quiet peace. He's reading a book his boss gave him and I am type-type-typing away at this here blog. I feel like I did much today and am even more motivated to complete the few things I neglected to get done. Tomorrow brings a visit to the doctor and from then on it's visits every two weeks - how did this pregnancy go by so quickly?! I guess I'll just have to have more babies! (Ha! Joel would say if I told him I just wrote that!)

I'm going to try the schedule thing for this week and see if it keeps me on track or drives me absolutely nuts. I'll keep you posted on the status. :)
