Ugly Sidebar "Widget"

You may notice there is an ugly new addition to my blog. I added it because it's a new eHow feature but unfortunately it's ugly because it doesn't fit my blog layout size. It's an awesome feature to post because it showcases five articles of my choosing that I wrote. You just click and it takes you right to them. I figure I'll rotate them every week or two. So, if anyone knows how to get a new template on here with a wider sidebar allowance that would be super. I messed around with it a little last night and unfortunately couldn't figure it out.
