Joel's been working lots of hours this past few weeks. I love it because it means out budget isn't QUITE as tight as it normally is...BUT...the drawback is that the girls go to bed so early that they frequently go days without seeing their dad. I thought tonight would be good for either a girls night out with my good friend or a family night out with my favorite man ever. Man won out. Don't they always? :)
So Joel got off early (Yay!) and I convinced him (it took about .5 seconds) to take us out to Applebee's. So we went and the girls were ever so well-behaved. Darn it if I don't love them more than anything. Afterwards we walked off some of those calories at the mall. I got spoiled with a few clearance t-shirts. Can't beat $5 for some cute, quality tshirts.
Short post, but just wanted to share my good days. While bad days can be overwhelming sometimes, the good days make it all worthwhile and then some. :)
