Thank you, Summer...and husband!
It was a good day. We went to the Y to work out, then Trader Joe's, then Cash 'N Carry, THEN we came home and relaxed. THEN Joel called at 2 to tell me he was off work early - WHAT?! I was thrilled. I was more thrilled because it's been about 3 days since he's seen the girls. Woohoo!! And what did we do with our sunny day? We hung out by Nana's blow-up pool in our bathing suits and played in the water. We hula-hooped (Joel included), we danced, we splashed, we just laid there, we ate, we laughed, and Joel wore ladies sunglasses. Life doesn't get much better than having Dad around. Both Sarah and Allison were so pleased that Dad was home AND he sat in the ice cold water with them while splashed about. He was a trooper. It was nice to finally have some sun and for the girls to be able to have some fun, silly time with their dad. Happy girls we were.

I'm so happy you got those priceless sunny day moments! It just makes the point that memories are made day by day, and pure joy can be had in the ordinary events of life. Sweet summer time!
