Updates

I don't have any sweet anecdotes or amazing stories about how much I love my kiddos tonight.  But I haven't posted in a while though so I thought I'd bullet list some updates.

• Joel has been working on his 302 Datsun project the last few weeks and is making some great progress!  He's out there right now installing a new timing chain and after that I think it's pretty close to being able to run.  I say run, but I think it means it might just turn-over.  There are still no seats in the thing and the inside is totally torn out.  But the engine is progressing!
• I've had some renewed motivation to get the yard cleaned up.  We're going to finish the gravel in the wood-storage area then load up my dad's truck with junk for the dump.  I'm so excited for this.
• Allison continues to amaze me with her speech.  She'll repeat everything.  She and Sarah have little conversations together and it's just about the cutest darn thing I ever witnessed.
• Sarah's really growing up.  Just the other day I asked her to check on the 'little ones' (meaning Allison and their little 2nd(?) cousing Will) and as she skipped away I had to do a double take.  She's got legs for miles and a sweet little attitude to match.  But the attitude is only about 1/10 that of her sweet sister.  :)
• A few weeks ago I took on a little more responsibility at work and now I'm officially called a receptionist AND a location coordinator!  This means I keep track of all our inventory for both the Kingston and the Poulsbo meetings.  It's been keeping me busy but it's an extra few dollars and it keeps me on my toes!
• My garden was a little more productive this year than last year...okay a LOT more productive.  I've been able to harvest peas and beets and lots of rhubarb.  I'm encouraged that each year might just get a bit better than the last.  I just planted a new batch of beets to harvest in October and am super excited!
