week of love

This might be the week of the best love ever.  I mean, this week is full of the things I love most in this whole world.  And if we add next week into the mix then I'm overwhelmed with the love that floweth into my life.  Would you like to know more?  I'd love to share! :)

Tomorrow, Monday, is Joel and I's 7th wedding anniversary!  Wahoo!!  And you know what I'm most grateful for?  That I love him more today than I ever could have imagined 7 years ago!  I am so blessed that he continues to be my best friend and favorite man in the whole world...and he keeps getting better looking with age - I am a lucky girl!!

Tuesday marks a special day but I won't share right away.  It's not special in that it's happening to ME but it's special because it's happening to someone I love VERY much!  She's amazing.  And she's going to be blessed big time on Tuesday.

Wednesday is my sweet Sarah's 6th birthday!  What?!?!  Where does the time go?  She is super excited!  We're letting her pick what she wants for dinner and I'm waiting on an email back from her teacher so I know if we bring cupcakes or something.  Times have changed so much I have no idea...Either way - SHE'S SIX!  And ALSO Allison is officially three and a half on Wednesday.  Half birthdays totally count when I'm counting all the things I love about the week.  Life just wouldn't be complete without my little Alligator.

Thursday...oh, sweet Thursday...Thursday is long awaited movie premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 2.  And not only am I going to the 10pm premier showing of BD2 - I've got an amazing friend who is watching my girls so I can go to ALL FIVE MOVIES in the THEATER ALL DAY LONG!!  That's a movie theater marathon of my favorite movies/books EVER.  BEST DAY EVER.  I'm so excited I almost want to barf in my mouth when I think about it.  And on top of that...I'm treating myself to a gluten free cheeseburger from my favorite local burger place between the 3rd and 4th movies.  LIFE.  IS.  GOOD.

Friday is awesome because it's our monthly book club meeting.  We read Divergent and Insurgent.  We mostly read books so we have an excuse to all get together and talk and drink Diet Coke.  I love my sweet friends.  We always have lots of laughs.  It's a tradition that is slowly growing and I love it so much.

Saturday will be a recovery from the crazy week.  Nothing planned thus far.  Maybe I'll be picking up my fruit basket if I remember to order it tomorrow.  :)

Sunday will include going to church and then going to my mom and dad's house to celebrate Thanksgiving and Sarah's birthday.  We are doing Thanksgiving a bit early since Joel and I are headed to his parent's house and my mom works (and my sister and her family will be headed to her husband's family).  I love our family gatherings and all the peace it brings us to come together and create memories.  And I really love food.

If you include the next week then I'm REALLY excited about Thanksgiving.  We're hoping to stop in and visit with Joel's dad and stepmom before heading his mom's house for dinner.  We are so thankful that we live close enough to all of our family that we can visit with them over the holidays.

Sure do love my family and friends.  I'm truly blessed.
