These last few days I've been feeling especially unproductive. I think it has to do with my lapse in my workout routine and generally I haven't been around our house a whole lot so it's been neglected. So yesterday I decided that I was going to turn over a new leaf. Well, that leaf wasn't going to blow over even with a Category 5 hurricane on it's way.
My one big accomplishment yesterday was that I washed my car. Unfortunately, my little car is starting to show her age. I've always prided my little girl in her ability to appear younger than she is, but times they are a changing. I am trying to remember if I have a name for her, but I don't think I do. She had moss in her little corners and crannies...it was depressing. But she's clean on the outside, though her shine is fading, Joel is convinced that a little waxing will put the bling in her roll again.
Last night I was utterly useless. Joel went to help out our friends with some hay when he came home he said, "Did you even move?" because I was in the same spot. He said it laughingly, and shortly thereafter felt bad, but I knew he'd say it. Truth was, I'd moved very little. It was pathetic. I kept telling myself, 10 minutes I'm going upstairs to fold laundry. 25 minutes later...still veggertating. Blegh!
So today was a new day. Fortunately, there was a Category 3 hurricane heading towards my motivational leaf, and it managed to roll over. Today I folded laundry, crawled around upstairs making growling noises with Sarah on my back, ran 3 loads of laundry, did dishes, cleaned my room, cleaned the kitchen, and did the dishes.
I never get a chance to go to Silverdale because it requires so much justification for fuel use that it doesn't ever happen. But today I'm excited that I have several errands to run there. So Sarah and I get to take a little road trip. Sarah gets some new shoes out of the deal. She should be wearing a size 5 but currently all her shoes are size 3. It's very sad for her. Joel has been bugging me for weeks and I've scoured 3 stores looking, so we've entered desperacy-ville and are looking for a way out.

if you still haven't had any luck I might have a shoe or two from Jacey that you might like. I have a box of clothes and things. Let me know if you are interested. I'm not sure if I have dress shoes or tennis shoes but I know I have something. NO babies yet but thanks for the vibes... :)
