SOLD!

I am pleased to announce we sold our Toyota Pickup project tonight for just what we wanted for it! And to make things even more fantastic, the guy who bought it was absolutely thrilled. Joel was a little sad, he said, "Well, now there's a hole." And I said, "What? Like in your heart?" And he replied, "Well, yeah, it's a vehicle, I don't like to get rid of them." But then when he recalled he could use some of the money to buy a water pump for his hot rod, his face perked right up!

So we're definitely glad to see the money go back into our savings account. It was a nice project that ended up being more costly in time and money than we anticipated but we made a better profit than we would have seen in interest at the bank - so I call it even.

On other personal randomness, I am 21 weeks pregnopolis today and I had a check up. With the weather I missed my December check up altogether but things are looking normal anyway. I'm right on target with size, weight gain, and symptoms so that's good. The baby's heart rate was 160 which, if you believe that sort of thing, is indicative of a little girl. But my doctor informed me that the heart rate results are about 50/50 on predictability. Next month I get to have my diabetes check and hopefully my friend Squirrel will come and help me entertain Sarah while I drink my orange beverage of goodness. Woohoo!

Yay for the truck! I'm selling my taurus to the guys who helped me fix it up to get it running. They are going to use it as a rally car basically, which is fine by me as long as I get my money back out of it.

I am still soooo excited for baby that I can't stand it! It will be so cool to see it and finally know!
Congrats on selling the truck...that has to be a load off your minds. I just thought I would tell you how funny it is that if I am on this blog it says "Our Life: SOLD!"...just looks funny, like you sold your life lol.

Good Job! Besides making more than you would have made with interest in the bank (which isn't hard these days) you also had the fun of something fun to do, watching something get better; creating something. I bet you have both figured out by now that anything remotely automotive will ALWAYS, ALWAYS cost more money, take more time, and cost someone at least a knuckle injury in the process, than you thought.
