This morning as I was building a fire I hear a little voice behind me chattering away - it's my sweet girl. Then the voice is louder and more adamant...
"No, don't rip it! Don't put it in the fire! Mom! No!"
I was ripping up a cardboard yogurt box to help start our morning fire when Sarah immediately began to protest...
"Mom, you can't! No ripping it! He's too little!...OH NEVER MIND!!" As she gives up and lays her head down dramatically in her blanket.
Yes, my little girl said 'nevermind'. I have to say she got a little talking to about using nice words to her mother but these days it's getting ever so hard to keep a straight face when she says things like that.
By the way, Joel came in second place at the Pinewood Derby. :) Maybe next year we'll score 1st!!

Second place out of 2 isn't bad, right?
