Joel and I have just started a new project - another baby! Okay okay...I know that gets everyone excited but really it's not a real child. We came upon a great deal on a Toyota Pickup Truck with a blown engine and couldn't pass up the opportunity to fix it. We bought it for REALLY cheap - so cheap that the truck itself was actually free and we were merely paying for the almost new 35" offroad tires it has. Joel is ripping apart the engine as we speak. We're debating on rebuilding the engine or buying a new one and sticking it in there, we'll know more when we get the heads totally off and can take a look at the pistons. Atleast that what Joel says - it's all greek to me. I did sit out there with him for about 4 hours, so I got some good wife points on that one! I even sustained a mosquito bite. your new baby looks just like Joel!!! it's a keeper. hope the engine is salvagable. fun stuff!! nice job on hanging out in the garage, there is much to be learned out there, sometimes the length of time spent opens up conversations that would never have had a chance to be had otherwise. It looks like there is much fun to be had in that truck. One for Joel to drive and now one for you to follow him in??... I think that would be cool like having your own four wheeler when going to the dunes.. hahahaha.
