It's Official!
After nearly vomiting over spending so much money we bought our tickets to California today! I'm excited! We'll leave Thursday, October 23 and come home Monday, October 27. We decided not to drive after our trip to Olympia yesterday as Sarah screamed nearly the whole way. We might be crazy by the time we got to California. Hopefully we will be able to have a whole row to ourselves so Sarah will be able to have a seat. If the flight is not full then Sarah may be able to ride in her own seat for free. Otherwise, she'll be on our laps the whole time. Time to start buying books and toys for the ride ahead of time. Surely, 2 hours of public screaming is better than 14 hours of private screaming yeah? :)

I wish I could make it up there to visit when you are in town. You'll have to plan another trip to San Diego so we can get together :)
Just remember that chewing on gum will help Sarah with the ear pressure, so have her chew on some on the way up and down so her ears don't hurt so much (there are other ways too. Search online for flying with kids. There is some great advice).
